Boring rainy day… I’m sitting in my home, reading some papers and thinking about the way to make it interesting. I’m seeing my doctor later this afternoon (regular check), then I’m seeing one of my friends, we’ll go shopping, and it’ll be fun, but what to do ‘till then?? To blog, of course
Reading these papers, I came across an article which says that an Austrian professor was doing research on foods that are advantageous for our brain cells. Here, I’m listing these foods for you:
Lettuce, spinach, cabbage, and similar veggies: excellent for supplying our brain cells with oxygen, because they are full of chlorophyll.
Broccoli: is excellent for concentration, because it contains carotenoids, iron, and calcium.
Pepper: it enhances the functions of our brain because of the high levels of carotenoids.
Apples, strawberries, citrus fruit: also enhance functioning of brain cells because of the high concentration of vitamin C.
Bananas: because of the high levels of vitamin B, magnesium, and potassium, bananas have the calming effect on our brain, like some kind of antidepressants.
Hazelnuts: contain some microelements, proteins and unsaturated fats, which all together are excellent for our memory.
Eggs, dairy products, and soy: because of high lecithin concentration that lowers the cholesterol, these foods are keeping our brains healthy.
