Benefits of Omega 3 Fatty Acids

So, omega 3s and their health benefits! I think it is not so necessary to write on this, but I promised, and I’m doing it. I don’t think it’s necessary because many people do know what those omega 3 fatty acids are good for, and those who don’t – actually do know that they are beneficial, so… But enough of empty talking, let’s get down to business
For mood and our brains: it is proved that there are fewer cases of depressive moods in populations whose diets include more omega 3s. Plus, omega 3s is an important constituent of the brain.
For our vision: they supply tiny capillaries in our eyes with blood, and they are very beneficial for retina.
For our blood pressure: omega 3s lower blood pressure by keeping the level of thromboxane, which helps in clotting by stopping blood loss when we are injured. It also helps our body in fighting against blood clots, and thus preventing strokes, heart attacks, thrombosis, and embolism.
For reducing the risk of heart disease: by keeping the arteries elastic and flexible, they prevent high blood pressure, and keep triglycerides down.
For reducing the risk of osteoporosis: omega 3 fatty acids contribute to rebuilding bone rather than losing it, and thus preventing breaking of the bones.
For reducing the risk of cancer: omega 3s strengthens immune system, and in that way they fight against cancerous cells. Also, they make it harder for a tumor for metastasize in the organism.
