A Practical Way to Improving Your Immunity

My previous post was about ways to improve your immune system so today’s post will include a practical way to it, plus it combines points 1 & 3 & 4. Let me get straight to the point and present you with one of my favorite companions in improving immunity: Healing Hand Smoothie!

It is very cheep and simple to make, as all of the smoothies actually are, but what you get from it is priceless. For this one you’ll need:

• 2 pears
• 2 kiwifruit (peeled, of course)
• ½ lime (or lemon if lime is too sour for you, but the sourness of lime gives something special to this smoothie)

Method is really simple: Juice ripe pears (if possible, because they are juicier) and kiwifruit flesh, pour into a glass, add a couple of ice cubes and few slices of kiwifruit to decorate it and that’s it! This makes you 300ml of juice.

Pears are an excellent source of dietary fibers and vitamin C; they are used for lowering high blood pressure and controlling cholesterol levels in blood. Kiwifruit is full of vitamin C, has mild laxative effects and is a natural source of beta-carotene. Lime is good source of vitamin C (although it contains less vitamin C than lemon) but they are richer in calcium, phosphorus and vitamin A.

Till my next post, enjoy!
