Natural Appetite Suppressant – Blue Color

Reading some newspapers today, I came upon an article which says that if you eat from blue-colored plates, you’ll actually eat less, so you’ll avoid overeating, and lose weight as well!

According to the ancient Chinese discipline feng shui, by serving your meals in blue plates you’ll manage “to trick” hunger, and you’ll definitely eat less food. But not only plates should be blue, says feng shui. Blue color should dominate your entire kitchen, because this color is calming. The advice is- buy plates, glasses, napkins, vases, curtains, Venetian blinds, carpet… anything you like in this color, or paint your kitchen walls in this amazing color.
Logically, red color, which is associated with passion and is very stimulative, should be avoided when decorating your kitchen. This color stimulates us to eat faster (most fast-food restaurants ARE painted in this color!), and to eat more!
To avoid overeating, don’t buy dishes with circles, dots, spirals, or similar design because they stimulate appetite.
And the most important thing, which I know from my personal experience, is to eat slowly! Your meal should last at least 20 minutes. That is time our brain needs to figure out that our stomach is full. So, if we eat faster, we’ll take in more food than we need.
