Did you know that Japanese people have the habit of drinking 6 dl of water when they get up in the morning? After that, they don’t eat or drink anything for 45 min. They say this method is beneficial both for healthy and unhealthy people, because the former become healthier, and the latter get better. Also, unlike Western people, both Japanese and Chinese people do not drink cold water during their meals. They only drink small sips of hot tea. It is not good to drink cold water or anything cold after our meals, because it thickens the fats and slows the digestion, which leads to obesity.

I already wrote on this topic, but now I have few more interesting and valuable information to share with you.

  1. Water prevents thrombosis by reducing the levels of cholesterol in blood.
  2. Drinking water in recommended doses prevents the excessive creation of histamine, which is an important protein involved in many allergic reactions, i.e. which causes allergies.
  3. Insufficient amount of water can lead to high blood pressure. If we don’t drink enough water, our blood becomes thicker and our heart must pump harder, which is not good and can lead to serious heart problems.
  4. It is also irreplaceable for proper function of our kidneys.
  5. Arthritis is also the effect of too small intake of water.

babies in waterAs we all know, life was created in water. We know that people from the East, especially Japanese people, live the longest lives, so there must be something in their recipes. It won’t harm you if you try these out.  I’ll definitely try this one with drinking water as soon as I get up.

Interesting information. I know that drinking water is great for our health, but I’ve never heard that “cold water thickens fat.” Where did you find this information?
